This paper presents solar powered low cost DC-DC converter based line frequency inverter for domestic lighting load. AC power conversion circuit incorporating high frequency push pull boost converter with single stage inverter topology. This power converter is more suitable and acceptable for cost effective applications. Its operating principle is presented using the switching mode equivalent circuits in addition to the operating voltage and current waveforms. Electrical energy generated by solar panel could be stored in battery and could be used to drive suitable domestic loads if stand-alone situations. Due to the utilization of renewable energy sources to meet a portion of daily energy needs. The operational principle of proposed topology was explained and Simulation results have shown the performance of the proposed high frequency transformer based topology for driving domestic loads.
