Abstract

Cervical fibroids are rare. Here is a case of 52 years old multiparous lady with 2 previous LSCS with acute retention of urine with huge posterior cervical fibroid occupying the upper part of vagina, pushing the uterus upwards and approachable through the abdominal route as there was not enough space to operate through the vaginal route. Total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and removal of cervical fibroid without any complications was performed.
