This paper presents the concepts for design and optimization of fuel cell consumption using fuzzy logic controller with maximum power point tracking technique. This project deals with polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell under various hydrogen concentration and varied fuel flow rate. In this paper, the minimization of fuel consumption in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell is carried out by new approach. This concept explains mainly about the minimization of current produced by the fuel cell by means of intelligent controller namely fuzzy logic approach. The de-de converter works with controller which process the power produced by the fuel cell and also compared the fuzzy logic controller with conventional controller and the simulation results are verified.
