Abstract

This paper introduces a concept of identification and easy detection of diseases in human without any master health check-up, just by reading the image of the eye of the person. The vessel pattern of the sclera region in the eye is unique for each human along with the iris, retinal vessel pattern. We use this retinal vessel pattern for human identification as one of the biometrics. But, we have not concentrated much on the sclera vessel pattern; unlike retinal vessel pattern, this does not require biometric device to capture the image; we can just use the ordinary camera of eight megapixels and above. Some common diseases like diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol can be easy, and early detection can be made by the eye doctors itself by comparing the now captured image of the eye with that of the stored images of normal eye of a person, thus saving time and money for both doctors and patients. During this COVID-19, pandemic period, the doctors can remotely study the patients and diagnose easily.
