Abstract

The Solar powered full bridge high frequency Induction Heater is presented in this paper. This topology is used to integrate the photovoltaic principle and electromagnetic Induction Principle. This green power system supports the cooking in residential and industrial application. The proposed high frequency induction heater is powered by power generated from the solar panel. Hence, the operating cost of the system is to be zero. The high frequency induction heater is constructed by two power electronic switches and two capacitors. By the application of this proposed high frequency inverter produces the exact high frequency ac signal for the heating element. Hence, the effective electromagnetic induction is developed and the more amount of heat generated in the bottom of the cooking pan. This inverter injects a lesser number of harmonic components. The present system supports the quality of power and maintains the reliability of the power system. The above mentioned solar powered induction heater is simulated and tested. Finally, validate the desired result of this present invention. The advantages of a solar induction heater are zero operating cost, No smoke, Utilization of green energy, Cool kitchen, Easy cleaning, No carbon emission and good efficiency.
