Abstract

The sink point streaming in Mobile Adhoc Network (Manet) is well studied. Various methods are discussed earlier for the problem of sink point streaming but suffer to achieve higher performance. To solve this issue, an efficient mobility aware multi feature approximation model is presented in this paper. The method focused on improving the performance of sink point streaming by considering mobility, traffic, link status, hop count. Based on the features considered, a set of routes have been discovered between the source and sink point. According to the features, the method estimates various factors like throughput support, link quality support, and mobility support for each route identified. Using the support measures, the method performs multi feature approximation to measure the streaming strength for each route. According to the Streaming Strength, most optimal route for data transmission is selected. The proposed approach generates higher performance in sink point streaming and improves the quality of service of Manet. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
