The most common sequela of wearing removable dentures is denture stomatitis. This review article uses a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) format to collect data regarding articles that report on the treatment of denture stomatitis using tissue conditioners modified with antifungal drugs, inorganic compound, and phytomedicines.
