Abstract

Ethanol and aqueous extracts of Carica papaya evaluated for antihepatotoxic activity against CCl4-induced hepatotoxicity. Extracts showed remarkable hepatoprotective effects assessed via biochemical parameters (AST, ALT, ALP, bilirubin, GGTP) and histopathology. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
