Abstract

Ethanol extract of Indigofera aspalathoides (250 mg/kg) studied for chemopreventive effect on DEN-induced liver tumor in rats. Reduced SGPT, SGOT, ALP, bilirubin, GGTP, LPO; increased antioxidant enzymes (SOD, catalase); histopathology improved.
