Abstract

Insulin effect on small intestinal transit in normal mice studied. Doses of 2 μU/kg, 2 mU/kg, 2 U/kg accelerated SIT; lower doses independent of blood glucose. Higher doses associated with hypoglycemia and SIT acceleration.
