Abstract

Hepatoprotective effect of Andrographis lineata extracts in CCl4-induced liver injury in rats. Methanol and aqueous extracts (845 mg/kg/day) administered orally. Biochemical markers (SGOT, SGPT, ALP, bilirubin) assessed; histopathology confirmed protection. Extracts comparable to standard drug.
