Abstract

Hepatoprotective and antioxidant effects of ethanol extract of Pisonia aculeata (EPA) in CCl4-induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Treatment with 250 and 500 mg/kg doses normalized serum markers, antioxidant enzyme levels, and histopathology. 500 mg/kg dose comparable to standard silymarin treatment. © Österreichische Apotheker-Verlagsgesellschaft m. b.
