Abstract
Gossypin shows anticonvulsant activity in mice by reducing convulsion duration in pentelentetrazole-, strychnine-, and electroshock-induced seizures. Effective at 10 and 20 mg/kg doses, likely acting via GABA-aminergic and glycine inhibitory pathways. © 2009 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
