Abstract

A new phenolic glycoside isolated from Symplocos racemosa bark; structure elucidated via FT-IR, GCMS, 1H & 13C NMR. Ethanolic extract (EESR) exhibited antipyretic activity against brewer's yeast-induced pyrexia in rats, comparable to paracetamol 100 mg/kg. Supports traditional use. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
