Abstract

Carbon sorbent derived from tapioca peel used to remove reactive dye Red Brown C4R from aqueous solution. Adsorption capacity 121.47 mg g-1 at pH 6, 32°C. Freundlich model fit better than other isotherms; modified Ritchie second order kinetics matched best. Optimum carbon dose 1.2 g L-1 for 96% dye removal. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
