Abstract

Magnetic flux patterns and magnetization curves of Exterior Rotor Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (ERPMBLDC) Motors were obtained using Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations with FEMM software. The 2D rotor-stator structure was analyzed under a full excitation cycle to optimize torque development. © 2011 IEEE. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
