Abstract
Microwave heating for in-shell egg cooking was optimized to prevent explosions. High- and low-energy points in the microwave cavity were identified. Operating at 40% power for 2 minutes at low-energy points successfully cooked eggs without explosion. © 2011 IEEE. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
