Abstract
A clinical study on 60 type 2 diabetic patients assessed the anti-hyperglycemic effect of sesame oil alone or combined with glibenclamide over 60 days. Combination therapy showed 36% reduction in glucose and 43% reduction in HbA1c, with improved lipid profiles and antioxidant activity, demonstrating synergistic effects and clinical applicability. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
