Abstract

Pyogenic granuloma is a tumor-like vascular proliferation in response to nonspecific infection, commonly affecting the gingiva. This case describes a 33-year-old male with a labial mucosa lesion. Clinical and histopathological features supported diagnosis, and surgical excision with eradication of local irritants was performed. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
