Abstract
Study on growth, reproduction, and life cycle of earthworm Perionyx ceylanensis in cow dung over 340 days. Growth rate, cocoon production, hatching success recorded. Worms reproduce parthenogenetically. Short life cycle makes P. ceylanensis suitable for vermiculture. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd.; © 2009 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
