Abstract

Vermicomposting of turkey litter and cow dung with Perionyx ceylanensis for 60 days improved soil properties and microbial populations in paddy cultivation (Oryza sativa, ADT-37). Vermicompost amendments increased pH, organic carbon, NPK contents, and enhanced crop growth and yield in a dose-dependent manner. © 2011 Academic Journals. © 2012 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
