Abstract

Spinocerebellar or olivopontocerebellar degeneration is a group of CNS disorders. Anesthetic management of a patient with severe olivopontocerebellar degeneration undergoing vaginal hysterectomy is described using combined spinal-epidural at L2-L3. Implications of spinocerebellar degeneration on anesthesia are discussed. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
