Abstract
An AC induction motor drive for an electric vehicle is presented, replacing a previously used DC motor. A three-phase voltage source inverter with DSP-based control is used for field-oriented torque and flux control. The system is sensorless, reducing cost and improving reliability. Simulation and experimental results are presented. © 2012 IEEE. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
