Abstract

Waste biomass can be sustainably converted into energy, feed, chemicals, and platform chemicals like lignin, biofuels, nanocellulose, and 5-HMF through fermentation, depolymerization, and hydrothermal processes, supporting effective waste management and resource recovery.
