Abstract

Intrinsic tooth stains are more permanent than extrinsic stains and can be systemic or local. Erythrodontia is reddish-brown or reddish-black discoloration of teeth caused by congenital erythropoietic porphyria (CEP) or Gunther disease. An 8-year-old girl with erythrodontia was referred to a clinic in the UAE with discolored primary teeth and a history of CEP and severe right sensorineural hearing loss. Complete esthetic rehabilitation was performed. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
