ZnO–CeO2 nanoflowers were synthesized via a hydrothermal method, forming rectangular ZnO structures with evenly distributed CeO2 particles. Characterization (XRD, FTIR, UV–Vis, SEM, XPS, EPR, BET) confirmed structure and composition. Photocatalytic degradation of 2,4-D herbicide under visible light followed pseudo-first-order kinetics, demonstrating effective removal of endocrine-disrupting agents using the nanocomposite.
