Abstract

There are various reasons for a vehicle to abruptly stop. In such a state, the user cannot locate a workstation instantly. This necessitates the development of an Android-based application to allow customers to easily locate nearby mechanics, and then contact them via internet. In this research work, an Android-based model has been developed to track and locate a nearby vehicle workstation. The software will allow the car's owner to locate and contact any nearby vehicle service center. Both the user and the mechanic can access each other's whereabouts by using the application's Google Maps functionality by saving more time in the difficult situation. As a result, the proposed method is compatible with modern technology and is also user-friendly, informative and saves more time. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
