Abstract

Energy is a critical resource, and new methods are required to meet demand in price-based demand response (DR). This study extends load management strategies to multiple EV charging regions using Improved Grey Wolf Optimization (IGWO). IGWO calculates EV charging costs based on distinct consumption patterns, sending dynamic non-discriminatory price signals to all regions. A mathematical model determines real-time charging prices. The global optimum converges successfully, demonstrating effectiveness. Simulations show cost savings of 0.69–6.89% while ensuring high user satisfaction.
